RORY J. CORNALE: A LEADING TRIAL LAWYER IN HAMILTON

Rory J. Cornale, of Cornale & Associates , is a leading trial lawyer in Hamilton focused on the advocacy and practice of criminal law and related fields.

 

A graduate of Harvard University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude), he subsequently attended the University of Windsor Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1983, at which time he joined the leading criminal defence lawyer and Ontario’s first ombudsman, Mr. Arthur Maloney Q.C., as an associate.

Mr. Cornale has continued his own legal practice with nearly 40 years’ experience as a criminal defence lawyer. He has successfully argued hundreds of cases across Ontario, from Ottawa to Windsor and the Province of British Columbia. Mr. Cornale has appeared at all levels of court, as well as a wide range of administrative tribunals. He has defended clients on charges ranging from murder to securities fraud, bank fraud, mail and wire fraud, sexual assault, internet sex crimes, impaired driving, theft, tax evasion and domestic violence and violent offences.

 

A Strong Sense of Community Involvement

Mr. Cornale is a member of the Ontario Criminal Lawyers Association and the Hamilton Criminal Lawyers Association and is counsel to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club. He has a strong sense of community and has participated in and contributed to many local organizations, as well as serving on the Tiger Town Council. He has been a guest speaker at the Children’s Aid Society and various civic outreach programs.
